Nature Nurture Gardens is a family-run garden design and landscaping business based in central Sevenoaks, run by Philip Martin. We give clients the benefit of both designing and building their gardens — so the people who draw the plan are the same team that lays the paving, plants the borders and hands it back finished.
We work for private homeowners and commercial clients alike, and no job is too small. Whether it's a full garden transformation, a new patio and pergola, or a hedge that needs keeping in shape through the year, the aim is the same: high-quality work, delivered in a timely manner, and a garden that's a pleasure to be in.

A border built for every season
A packed herbaceous border of grasses, sedum and perennials, designed and planted to give colour and movement from summer right through to autumn, with a bungalow garden opening out to the view beyond.
Clipped yew and a run of lavender
Sculpted yew columns and a curving lavender bed set against a manicured lawn — a good example of how hard structure and soft planting work together when the same team designs and maintains both.
Sandstone paving and a poolside terrace
Extensive natural stone paving laid around a pool and terrace, with new planting and young trees framing the space. Level, generous and built to sit comfortably in a large country garden.
A rose arbour to sit under
A timber bench framed by a climbing rose arch and flanked by soft catmint planting — a quiet, considered corner of the kind we love building into a wider garden design.

Where we work
Based in Sevenoaks, covering Kent and beyond.
